why companies don't make night vision features in cameras anymore?

For the past years i have been really curious why they don't sell video cameras with night vision mode? I would assume with the technology nowadays, they could build better ones. can anyone answer my question? thank you

    Check Sony… "NightShot" and "SuperNightShot" consumer camcorders have a built-in infrared emitter for zero-light monochrome video capture.
