What's a good camcorder with night vision?
I need a good camcorder with night vision for under ,000.
I need a camcorder with night vision, It will be used mostly for night vision, so that's the most important thing. I'd like something under 00.

Night vision… as in zero light video capture like Ghost Hunters or Blair Witch Project?
Any Sony with NightShot or SuperNightShot in the feature list – but stay away from DVD based camcorders.
If you want to edit, miniDV tape is best – and your computer needs a firewire port – USB will not transfer the video from the tape. You will need to buy a firewire cable, too.
You *can* edit video from hard disc drive and flash memory camcorders – but you need to be very careful about the process flow. What happens in 2 years when you want video you deleted? If you are using miniDV tape, and do onot re-use tapes, the video is still there on the tape to import. How are you planning to do this with hard disc drive and flash memory camcorders?
Stay far away from DVD based camcorders. They barely make useful doorstops.
