How can the Israeli army claim to be "taking every measure to avoid civilian casualties".?
They're using phosphor shells for crying out loud! Do they really expect the international community to accept that one of the best equipped armies in the world has to resort to using an archaic method of illumination that is bound to cause horrific burns and certain death to anyone who happens to be in the way when it lands.
Consider - they have at their disposal night vision goggles, air reconnaissance (with night vision!) and still they need this to "light the soldiers path". It's forbidden by the Geneva convention for use in civilian areas for obvious reasons, yet the IDF spokesman just squirms over the issue and says no military in the world would comment on the use of its weapons during a time of war or some such nonsense.
I'm talking about "civilian casualties". Civilians - non political entities like you and me.

No disrespect intended, but I don’t think this is the right avenue to be directing your question (which actually seems more like a comment/opinion more than it being a question), unless the Israeli government closely monitors answers from this site.

It is simple–if Hamas comes in your yard–stop them–if you support them, you are the same as they are so expect to get attacked if you attack Israel.

Israel drops Leaflets on where they are going to strike before they do so… yes every precaution has been given.
Are they gasing people? Are they using Nuclear or biological weapons? No… They are using White Phosphorus Artillery Rounds in which I have problem with. They are made to destroy and burn. An incendiary bomb.
Bombs are not made to drop cuddly bunnies but are made to destroy buildings, and military threats… Sometimes civilians get in the way, sometimes they are forced and are human shields and sometimes they think if they die for HAMAS they will go to heaven or ALLAH or w/e it is..
Why don’t you ask yourself Why Egypt, Syria, and Jordan have not caused a fuss to Israel since the Yom Kippur War… Maybe because they are not attacking Israel with rockets like HAMAS…

If the bad guys weren’t hiding amonst the civilians then there would far fewer casualities. The fault lies with the terrorists. Mosques would not be targets if the bad guys weren’t firing rockets and hiding from there.
There was one terrorist hq that operated from within a hospital. so it has now become a target.
Oh well….

if you stand and stare at a flare thats floating towards you and let it hit you somethings wrong
as for the civilian deaths if their sanding next to a terrorist with a weapon then as i said their either helping said terrorist or their brain damaged if this stuff was going on around you would you stay their an expect a military to fight around you i wouldn’t id be gone
