Can you see with night vision scopes in the day, and can you put it in front of a normal scope for day?
For a rifle can you mount a night vision in front and still see with the normal scope or do you need a special one to see inday and night?!

Most night visions scopes come with a day cap – it is nothing more than a black scope cap with a small hole. However, if that thing fall off in the daytime and the NV is powered up – it can cause permenent damage to the sensor tube.

no you cant have one scope infront of the other they make special nv scopes that are designed for the sole purpose of turning a day scope into a nv scope such as the ps22-2 but you will ruin a nv scope if you use it during the day
